Just steps away from Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Promenade at Sunset Walk is the newest dining, shopping and entertainment district in the Orlando area. This laid-back destination offers unique restaurants, daily live music plus weekend concerts, and big-name stores and specialty boutiques in a family friendly atmosphere.

Promenade at Sunset Walk offers just the retail therapy you need. From beloved brands to specialty boutiques, there truly is something for everyone — and everyone on your gift list! Looking for Disney- or Florida-branded souvenirs? We’ve got you covered at U.S. Gift Factory. If you’re a dog lover, a bag of homemade treats from Don’t 4 Get About Me will be a hit with your furry friend. Need a bottle of wine for the evening? You can try a different eatery every night of the week at Promenade at Sunset Walk. Enjoy authentic Cuban dishes at Estefan Kitchen Orlando, owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, or the atmosphere and food and drinks of an English pub at Yeoman’s Cask & Lion. Capone’s Coal Fired Pizza will immerse you in the sights, sounds and tastes of the 1920’s prohibition in Chicago. That era also comes to life at Ford’s Garage, which is decorated like a vintage service station and serves burgers and beers.

Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas carolers will be singing your favorites as they stroll through the Promenade on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with additional days during Christmas week. Keep an eye out for the mischievous elves that are likely to pop up those days, as well! Santa Claus is expected make special trips from the North Pole on December 11, 12, 18, 19, and 23.

Want to spread some happiness this holiday season? Donate a toy to a needy child in Osceola County from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 13 at the monthly Car and Truck Show. The drive is in partnership with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Disney Springs

Only 15 minutes away, Disney Springs is an outdoor entertainment complex with one-of-a-kind restaurants and more than 100 retailers at Walt Disney World. Of course, you’ll find the largest selection of Disney merchandise than anywhere else as well as beloved brands and unique boutiques. Admission and parking are free. Don’t miss the Christmas Tree Trail — holiday music, falling “snow” and Disney-inspired trees — which opens November 6.

Universal CityWalk

Billed as the Epicenter of Awesome, Universal CityWalk is an outdoor promenade only 20 minutes away with plenty of dining and shopping venues. Universal Studios Store features merchandise from all the characters you love, from Harry Potter and Jurassic Park to Minions and SpongeBob Squarepants. Take a break and treat yourself to an amazing specialty milkshake or other dessert at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium! Admission to CityWalk is free and parking is complementary in the evening.

Premium Outlets

Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets and Orlando International Premium Outlets are two collections of outlet stores in breezy, open-air settings. Both centers offer the best-known and sought-after outlet stores with convenient parking.


Mall at Millenia

If you are looking for an upscale shopping experience only 20 minutes away, head to The Mall at Millenia, about 15 minutes north of Universal Orlando Resort. Here, you’ll find luxury retailers, such as Jimmy Choo, Gucci and Tiffany & Co., as well as popular stores such as Abercrombie, Pandora and Apple. Enjoy a quick bite in the food court or one of several restaurants, including Cheesecake Factory.


Florida Mall

The Florida Mall is Central Florida’s largest with more than 250 retail and dining options, many of which offer curbside pickup. It’s located about halfway between Universal Orlando and Orlando International Airport and has many market exclusives, including American Girl, Crayola Experience and M&M’S World. The Florida Mall especially caters to families with children younger than 12.

With so much great shopping in the Orlando area, you’re going to need to need an extra suitcase for all your fabulous finds!
