This year, we’re raising a margarita to a major milestone—four incredible years of bringing the Margaritaville lifestyle to life in Central Florida. Since opening our gates, Camp Margaritaville Auburndale has grown into a nationally recognized destination resort, known for unforgettable stays, award-winning hospitality, and a welcoming island state of mind that keeps guests coming back year after year.

From day one, our goal was never to be just a place to stay. We set out to build a place people talk about, return to, and feel connected to—a resort rooted in fun, escapism, and the unmistakable Margaritaville vibe inspired by the lyrics and island lifestyle of singer, songwriter, and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett.

What We’ve Built in Just Four Years

In a short time, we’ve created a resort experience that blends relaxation, fun, and connection. Palm-lined RV sites and island-inspired cabins set the stage, while a continually expanding lineup of amenities ensures there’s always something new to enjoy.

Guests can float into vacation mode at our zero-entry, heated main pool with a 147-foot waterslide, unwind at the scenic License to Chill Pool overlooking Lake Myrtle, or cool off at the Jolly Mon Splash Pad, now enhanced with shaded splash pad and poolside cabanas for all-day comfort.

We’ve added a second resort-style pool, a pickleball court, Parrot Island Mini Golf, Sports Island with sand volleyball and Gaga ball, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, cornhole, and communal fire pits—all designed to bring people together.

Families love the Parakeet Kids Park, Pirate Ship Treasure Mining, and kid-focused activity spaces, while pet lovers appreciate our Bark-aritaville dog parks, dog run, dog spas, and upcoming Pet Suite Cabins. Thoughtful touches like tiki huts on select sites, book libraries, the Hart Gallery, laundry and bath houses, and Joe Merchant’s Camp Store round out an experience that feels effortless and complete.

We’ve brought jaw-dropping moments to life, from hosting the Flying Royals Trapeze Group to transforming weekends with our beloved Paradise Markets, filled with local vendors, live music, and island energy. Guests can also uncover hidden gems like our Speakeasy, adding a surprise element to the resort experience, or explore the Hart Gallery, showcasing locally painted Margaritaville-inspired artwork—with proceeds supporting charitable causes and giving back to our community.

Our calendar stays packed with live music, themed celebrations, daily activities, and public events guests plan trips around—Sip & Paint nights, Back-to-School parties, and holiday weekends that go all out every single time.

Holidays are a big deal here. October becomes a full-scale experience with Halloween weekends taking over the entire month, while December delivers Christmas Magic, filling the resort with festive décor, lights, and family traditions—with a tropical twist.

And each year, Jimmy Buffett Day Weekend stands as one of our most meaningful celebrations, honoring the music, lifestyle, and spirit that inspired everything we do.
