What a weekend to remember! Jimmy Buffett Day Weekend at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale was everything we hoped for and more — a heartfelt celebration filled with island vibes, unforgettable moments, and a whole lot of Margaritaville magic. From foam parties to golf cart parades, specialty cocktails, live art, and a 5 O’Clock Somewhere toast, guests of all ages joined together to honor Jimmy’s legacy in true paradise style.
Day of Service: Packing Meals, Spreading Love
In honor of Jimmy Buffett Day of Service, our team proudly partnered with kidsPACK, a local nonprofit dedicated to ending weekend hunger for children across Polk County and beyond. With the help of our staff and volunteers, we packed over 700 meals for children in need, contributing 50 team hours to support this impactful mission.
Since opening in 2021, Camp Margaritaville Auburndale has been honored to support kidsPACK, which has provided more than 300,000 meals to over 10,000 local students. Seeing the smiles and knowing the difference these meals make reminds us why giving back is such a vital part of Jimmy Buffett’s lasting legacy.
Community Painting Project for Singing for Change 🎨
One of the most meaningful highlights of the weekend was our community painting project in support of Singing for Change, a foundation inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s commitment to helping those in need. Guests donated to add their own brushstrokes to a collaborative art piece throughout the event, creating a vibrant work of art filled with island spirit and community love.
At the end of the weekend, the finished painting was raffled off, and two lucky winners had the chance to take home this one-of-a-kind piece. It was a special way to honor Jimmy’s passion for music, art, and giving back — and a moment many guests said they will never forget.
Onsite Blood Drive with OneBlood 🩸
Giving back was at the heart of the weekend. We were proud to host an onsite blood drive with OneBlood, providing guests and locals the chance to make a lifesaving impact. From first-time donors to longtime supporters, participation was strong, and together we helped ensure that much-needed blood donations reached those in our community who need it most.
It was another reminder that Margaritaville isn’t just about fun — it’s about caring for others and making a difference, one generous act at a time.
