No size limit for pets at RV sites, and dogs up to 35 lbs are welcome in designated cabins

You can bring up to three pets per RV site and one dog per cabin

Bringing your dog to Camp Margaritaville is easy, but a little planning can make the experience even smoother. Here are some helpful tips for traveling with your pup:

✅ Bring a Portable Pet Pen

Perfect for giving your dog a secure place to rest while you're hanging out at your site, eating meals, or chatting with neighbors.

✅ Pack the Pet Essentials

Make a checklist: food, bowls, leash, waste bags, favorite toys, treats, medications, grooming supplies, and vaccination records.

✅ Keep an Eye on the Weather

Florida heat can be tough on pets. Always provide access to shade and plenty of fresh water. Consider a cooling mat or portable fan.

✅ Watch the Pavement

Test the ground with your hand or foot before walking your dog. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws. Stick to grassy areas or shaded trails when it's sunny.

✅ Walk Early or Late

Plan walks and dog park visits during the early morning or later in the evening to avoid peak heat and protect your pup from overheating.

✅ Clean Up and Be a Good Neighbor

Use the pet stations around the resort to dispose of waste, and follow leash rules to help keep the resort safe and enjoyable for everyone.
