Job Overview:
Responsible for operational performance to include profitable growth, accounting, cost controls, inventory, management of staff, delivery of all food and beverage for functions held, and the highest level of customer satisfaction by meeting all company goals and objectives. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, pool area, and concert venue at the resort. Minimal focus on office tasks during peak hours of the resort. Focus is to lead the team and be guest-facing, particularly in restaurant, pool and concert venue.
Position Description:
- Ensures compliance with health and safety codes and policies
- Communicate effectively with peers, supervisor and subordinates

- Responsible for the overall financial success of the operation
- Accountability for overall growth of the operations for revenue generation

- Establishes and maintains exceptional associate relations through effective recruitment, hiring,

- Attend all meetings as required
- Completes monthly/weekly forecast for performance of operations for budget against plan
- Analyzes and initiates actions to improve product, company image and profitability
- Manages Walk Arounds for monthly audits of all food and beverage inventories
- Ensures that all corporate paperwork is accurate and timely
- Understands the operations profits and loss (P&L) statement to determine weakness and strengths
- Strategizes operational plans to maintain the required profitability margins
- Demonstrates exceptional delegation to encourage associate empowerment and growth
- Establishes goals for Floor Manager to benchmark their progress
- Knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures set by Margaritaville specs
- Complete all assignments and tasks as instructed by any member of the Executive Committee
- Informs General Manager of guest comments
- Exceptional knowledge and understanding of vendor information to assist customers with additional services they desire
- Thorough understanding of Event Orders and Planning documents including implementation of the proper event set up
- Walk through with Floor Management and Leads 30 minutes prior to pre shift meetings and execution of events.
- Responsible for completing various daily administrative duties prior to and at the end of each shift
- Responsible for handling accurate and efficient cash transactions
- Ensure all billing is accurate and each POS is cleared daily
- Knowledge of Pool Operations including but not limited to VIP area and Cabana
- Knowledge of Concert and Special Event concerning scheduling planning, pre and post meeting with staff and General Manager
- Accountability of alcoholic beverage ordering, inventories and product mix
- Accountable for providing tools and agendas for managers and leads
- Knowledge of multi-unit activations along with directing manager with planning daily planning guides
- Management of multi-unit operations with various levels of concentration
- Time Management being guest facing at all times the resort is in operational hours
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of management experience
- Interacts professionally with multiple departments
- Communicates effectively both written and verbal
- Management Food Safety Certified or ServSafe and Alcohol Certified
- Lifts, pushes, pulls and organizes up to fifty, (50) pounds
- Works a flexible schedule for any day or time
- Skillfully uses hands and fingers easily
- Stands and walks long period of time
- Multi-tasked oriented and organized
- Computer literate
