Wednesday, April 15th:
1:30pm- Registration Check-In Begins!
Come to the Paradise Pavilion.
Silent Auction Item Drop-Off at Registration.
There will be a short form to complete about your donated item. We thank you for supporting the HOLD YOU FOUNDATION.
2:00pm- It’s 5 O’ Clock Somewhere! Head to the Pool! Put your feet up or slip them in to the pool with a cold drink in your hand.
4:30 - 5:30 pm - Kick-Off Meet and Greet Activity:
Parrot heads, pirates, and beach goers welcome to Camp Margaritaville. Wear Your Favorite Jimmy Buffett Inspired
Hawaiian Shirt, Dress, or other Tropical Flair! We are going to have a game, a craft, and meet new friends. The bar will be open!
6:00 pm - FINS UP! Opening Night Dinner:
Welcome, Jennifer McCann, with MASA, our Platinum Sponsor for Camporee. Followed by Janine Pettit, Founder of
Girl Camper.
THERE WILL BE A GROUP PHOTO IN OUR JIMMY BUFFETT INSPIRED OUTFITS AT DINNER!
8:00 pm - Break for the night:
Walk on the beach under the stars. Hit the Hot Tub. Sit around a campfire and catch up with friends. Finish unpacking!
Thursday, April 16th:
8:00am- Coffee and Donuts offered @ Paradise Pavilion
8:30am- Silent Auction Opens @ Paradise Pavilion
9:00am to 10:30am- Capture the Flag: Team building time! It is time to name your team, choose a team captain, and make a team sign for the field. We have some fun activities for you, too!
11:00am- CHASING THE TIDES PRESENTATION:
We are honored to have Jay and Chrissy Kleberg speaking about their journey along the Texas Gulf Coast and the filming of “Chasing the Tides”. We’d like to give a special thank you to Raye Massey, Southeast Texas Girl Camper, for helping make this possible!
3:00pm- P.J. Buerger of Princess Craft RV: Did you know? Maintenance, simple repairs, and safety hacks for keeping Girl Campers on the road!
4:30- Muumus, Margaritas & Mocktails Nightand it is time to dress for dinner!
Wear your most comfortable Muumuu and get ready to enjoy a fun evening with guest speakers and our trailer tour!
5:00 pm- Dinner with THE ARTIST BOAT: A nonprofit that is dedicated to preserving the coastal areas and marine environment through science and art.
6:30 pm- THE CAMPOREE TRAILER TOUR! We will visit our Open House Campsites where our hostesses will have desserts and treats for us as we leisurely stroll about in our Muumuus and Kaftans.
Friday, April 17th:
6:30 am- Sunrise Beach Walk:
Meet Lisa Dempsey at 6:30 at the Margaritaville Beach entrance. We will
take a stroll and watch the sun come up.
TIP: This is a great photo op with friends!
10:00am to noon: Wasting Away in
Margaritaville at the Pool in our Cabana!
Meet up with Lisa and friends at the pool for some sun, floating, reading, and relaxing - maybe a margarita too!
2:30pm to 3:30pm- Introduction to Doo Dads:
This game is played with Left/Right/Center Dice and small trinkets, re-gifts, junk drawer finds, dollar store items, or
just about anything you want to use. Bring 6 small items with you to play the game.
3:30pm - 4:30pm: Hello Ducky! Greeting Card Making Party for Forgotten Wishes Foundation.
Help Lisa Dempsey make “Duck Themed” greeting cards for the Forget-Me-Not Friends Club and learn how you can do
this on your own or with friends at home.
5:30 pm - P.J. Buerger with Princess Craft RV Gear, Gadgets, and Hacks for Traveling Solo in your camper, car, or van.
6:30pm- Dinner at the Pavilion
7:30pm- Concert on the Field
8:00pm- Campfire & S’mores at the Margaritaville Fire Pit in front of Fins Bar & Grill!
Saturday, April 18th:
8:00 am-Coffee and Kolaches offered @ Paradise Pavilion
9:30am- Capture the Flag:
Teams Meet at the Stage area on the Field for Group Photos! Wear your Camporee Shirts and Team Gear.
10:00 am - Capture the Flag Instructions and Rules for the Activities, followed by GIRL CAMPER’S ANNUAL CAPTURE THE FLAG!
12:30pm- Lunch & Tailgating Party at the Pool:
Your Girl Camper Hostesses will be cooking up Cheeseburgers in Paradise for lunch!
3:30pm- Mermaid in the Night Craft:
Make your own mermaid to travel along with you when you go. She won’t need water, just you!
5:30 Dinner and Ceremony:
Please join us to celebrate all of the Girl Camper’s who have joined us from across the country. We will share stories from the trip and stories about how Girl Camper has impacted your life.
