Maintenance: Sites Specialist
Full Job Description
To maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment throughout the resort by ensuring that lodging sites, resort
grounds, and facilities are consistently well-kept, fully functional, and visually appealing. This position plays a critical
role in shaping the first and last impressions of every guest by preparing sites after departures, maintaining common
areas, and providing basic upkeep across the property. Through attention to detail, commitment to safety, and pride
in presentation, this role helps create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the resort’s standards of hospitality and
care.
Key Responsibilities
Site Readiness & Cleanliness
1. Clean and prepare RV and lodging sites after guest departures.
2. Remove rubbish and debris across the resort property.
3. Perform light landscaping such as raking, sweeping, and clearing walkways.
Basic Maintenance & Troubleshooting
4. Inspect and perform daily routine maintenance of RV hookups (water, sewer, electrical, pest control).
5. Report repair needs to maintenance staff.
6. Assist with general upkeep of public areas such as restrooms, picnic areas, and walkways.
Guest Service Support
7. Provide basic assistance and information to guests when approached.
8. Report guest concerns to appropriate staff.
9. Model a friendly, approachable presence around the resort.
Safety & Compliance
10. Follow all safety procedures when handling tools, trash, and chemicals.
11. Alert management to safety hazards or environmental issues.
12. Maintain proper use of equipment and protective gear.
Golf Cart Maintenance & Management
13. Assist in the daily management and upkeep of resort golf carts, ensuring they are clean, safe, and guest-ready.
14. Conduct routine checks on battery levels, tires, and general mechanical condition.
15. Report or address minor repair needs promptly to minimize downtime.
16. Support proper storage, charging, and rotation of golf carts to extend equipment life and maintain availability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- 0–1 year of work experience; hospitality, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience helpful but not required.
- Dependable work ethic with strong attention to detail in cleaning and site preparation.
- Positive and approachable demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn new tasks quickly, and ask questions when needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions while staying productive and focused.
- Strong sense of responsibility for keeping spaces safe, clean, and guest-ready.
Schedule
- This position requires flexibility in scheduling based on the needs of the resort.
- Team members may be scheduled to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons or special events.
- Team members may also be called into work outside of their regular schedule to respond to urgent maintenance issues, guest needs, or other operational requirements.
