Start your New Year’s Eve celebrations early at The Island in Pigeon Forge since it opens at 10 a.m. on Dec. 31. Spend the day exploring the park’s activities and making cherished memories. There’s everything from a ropes course and bumper cars to the Alcatraz East Crime Museum and laser tag. There’s even a wine tasting venue at Bootleggers Homemade Wine where you can toast to the New Year. When it’s time to refuel, meal time is easy at The Island since there are so many restaurants to choose from.
As night falls, The Island in Pigeon Forge lights up with thousands of lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere for families. Open until midnight on New Year’s Eve, the entertainment complex is known for its Island Show Fountain, a fountain that features a light show every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. The show itself is two songs long.
