Camp Questions

Check-in time for all RV sites is 2 pm. If you arrive before 2 pm, your site may not be ready, but we will try to accommodate you. Please call before coming to see if early check-in is possible. Check-out time on the day of your departure is noon.

If you are arriving after hours (Friday & Saturday after 7pm, Sunday-Thursday after 5pm), please make sure to contact us at (470) 323-3487 to make late check-in arrangements.

Sunday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Camp Margaritaville is an RV resort. Approved recreational vehicles include class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, hard-sided travel trailers, hybrid travel trailers with pop-out beds, toy haulers, truck campers, pop-up campers, and teardrop campers. All recreational vehicles must be factory manufactured only and currently registered, maintained in good condition, and in running order without leaks of any kind. In addition, all RVs must be leveled and supported with the proper equipment. (Tent camping is not permitted.) 

Note: RV’s and vehicles must be less than 15 years old, kept in good working condition with NO LEAKS of any kind. We do make exceptions based on the condition of the RV. Please call the office before reserving to get your RV approved with a picture verification.

Yes, access to LandShark Landing and the beaches are complimentary. Discount tickets to the seasonal attractions (Water Park and Snow Island) are available at the RV Resort office. Additional resort options available – golf, boat rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals, margarita & brunch lake excursions (fees apply).

Two pets, including dogs and cats, can stay with you at your RV site with no additional fees. Please ensure that you clean up after your furry friend and keep them leashed while on the premises. Pets may be prohibited as necessary, and a copy of current vaccinations must be kept on file in the office.

We limit the number of people on each site to a maximum of 8, which includes your original party and any visitors you may have.

Guests outside of your immediate family must check-in and register with the office if you do not accompany them.

Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior at all times. Please supervise small children in showers and restrooms.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Golf carts are permitted; however, they may only be operated by a licensed adult, ages 18+, and must be insured for liability. Golf carts must have working lights (front and rear). Carts may only be driven on park roads.

We do offer golf cart rentals at the resort for your convenience. Advance reservations are recommended.

All vehicles must display a valid parking permit. Only two vehicles permitted per site, vehicles must not block the road or adjacent sites.

Campfires are permitted in the fire pits only. Personal charcoal and propane grills are allowed. Do not place hot coals in the garbage. All fireworks are prohibited on resort property.

Yes, firewood and ice are available for sale at the office/store.

Due to the Board of Health Regulations, washing dishes or animals/pets is prohibited in the resort’s guest showers and bathrooms.

Yes, we have laundry for guests’ use.

Please place bagged garbage next to the lot number sign on your site for trash pick-up. Do not leave garbage bags out overnight, as this may encourage uninvited wildlife visitors.

In regard to washing your RV, only minor touch-ups may be completed on-site and only with prior management approval.

RV maintenance is typically not allowed on-site. If you must have your RV repaired on-site in order to continue your travel plans, this would have to receive prior management approval.

Reservations may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for any reservation cancelled. Cancellations between 30 days and 14 days prior to check-in the deposit to book will turn into a camp credit that will expire 1 year from the original reservation date. Cancellations between 14 days and check-in the deposit will not be refunded.
