What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. You must be 21 and up.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to check-in.
How can I buy a pool pass or cabana reservation?
Please advise that the outdoor pool will be closed starting November 1, 2025, for the season.
You can purchase pool passes and reserve cabanas online here for guaranteed availability. A limited number of passes and cabanas are also available for walk-up purchase at the pool ticket hut each day.
Is there a resort fee? What does it include?
The resort fee is $20 per night (May-August)*. It includes:
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- 24-hour access to Fins Up Fitness Center
- Complimentary in-room coffee and bottled water
- Local and domestic phone calls
- Use of outdoor resort-style pool and indoor pool (Outdoor pool will be closed November 1, 2025 for the season).
- Access to NINJACROSS obstacle course and rock-climbing wall at indoor pool
- Pool towels
- Lobby and concierge services
- Access to guest laundry facilities
- Use of hammocks and yard games

Do you allow pets?
The Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is a pet-friendly hotel that understands pets are an extension of your family. We gladly welcome our guests traveling with small pets. There will be a $75 fee for each pet, and a limit of two pets per guest room.
Please note that a valid credit card number must remain on file at the front desk. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel grounds and properly disposing of the waste in an outside dumpster or at an otherwise designated disposal area. Damage caused by pets to a guest room, its furnishings, and any other part of the hotel are the sole responsibility of the guest. The guest's account will be charged commensurately to the cost of such damage.
Noise/Disruptive Complaints: If hotel management receives more than 2 (two) complaints, alternative arrangements must be made for the pet(s). The non-refundable pet fee will not be refunded once the pet has been in the guest room.
Do you charge for parking?
Self-parking is available for $20 per night, per car, year round. Valet parking is available for $25 a night.
What is the closet airport?
Kansas City International Airport is 24 miles from the hotel.
How can I arrange an amenity for a special occasion i.e. cake, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne?

Does the hotel provide a shuttle service?
Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City offers shuttle service.
Can I bring outside food and beverage into the hotel?
Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City has specific policies regarding outside food and drink. Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the public areas of the hotel, including the pools and dining facilities. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. Baby food and formula are permitted, as well as birthday cakes with advanced notice.

Do you provide late check-out?
You may place a request for late check-out at the Front Desk, but it is not guaranteed. After 12 PM will be a full night’s rate, plus tax.
What is the hotel's smoking policy?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted: Smoking (including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and e-cigarettes or vaping devices of any kind) is not permitted in any indoor areas at Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts, including all back of house areas and food and beverage outlets. Smoking is also not permitted in the pool area, the activity/outdoor decks, or on any the guest room patios or balconies.
