General General
What does the guest amenities fee include?
The guest amenities fee is $40 per night plus tax and includes:
- $15 daily dining credit at LandShark Bar & Grill or 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar*
- Upgraded Wi-Fi throughout the hotel's guest rooms and public spaces
- Complimentary Lobby Welcome Drink | 3:30–5:00 PM
- Two complimentary water bottles
- Access to state-of-the-art fitness center
- Access to onsite live entertainment venues
- Access to rooftop pool and lounge
- Unlimited Local and Domestic Long-Distance Calls
- Printing and copying services (up to 50 pages)
- Public Bike Usage based on availability
*Dining credit may not be used at the Margaritaville Coffee Shop. Credit is per-room, not per guest.
What is check in/check out time?
Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 a.m.
Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is completely non-smoking. A cleaning fee is applied to a room that has been smoked in.
Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?
Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?
Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter offers a 24-hour fitness facility located on the first floor. Equipment includes elliptical machine, treadmills, Pelotons™, and free-weights.
Do you offer bikes for use during my stay?
Yes we do. Get out and explore the city on one of our complimentary hotel bicycles, available for checkout through our valet team. We can also recommend some popular bicycle routes as well.
Do you have a pool?
Yes, a heated outdoor pool is located on the fourth floor. The pool is open daily from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Do you have a spa? What are the hours?
We do not have an on-site spa facility available.

Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?
We do not offer shuttle services to or from the airport but our concierge can make arrangements for you.
What are your cross streets?
We are located on the corner of J Street & 6th street.
Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
Valet parking is $70/night. Hourly parking is also offered starting at $25 for the first hour and $10 an hour after that. Max cost is $70. Valet parking fees are subject to change.

How do I view my reservation?

Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
Rollaway beds are based on availability for a $50 fee. Please be aware that some rooms do not allow rollaway beds. Cribs and playards are available at no charge.
I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
Please contact the website with which you made your reservation.
What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
Cancellations or modifications must occur at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date, by 3 pm local hotel time, to avoid a one night's room and tax charge to your credit card. Once you are checked into your room, you are fully responsible for all nights' room and tax.
What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?
Guests must be 21 years or older to check into a room at Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
The property in itself is family-friendly and open for all ages.
Is my ID/passport required at check in?
We do require a photo ID at the time of check in for all reservations.
Do you have connecting rooms?
We do have a limited number of connecting rooms on property. This is on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bathtubs with bars and added facility, and some include a roll-in shower. For more information on the accessible features of our hotel, click here.
Do you have an early departure fee?
An early departure fee of up to one night's room and tax may apply on all reservations.

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
We accept all major credit cards. Cash is accepted for payment, but a credit card is still required for incidentals.
Pets Pets
Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height, or types?
Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is a pet-friendly hotel that understands pets are an extension of your family. We gladly welcome our guests traveling with small dogs under 75 lbs.
There will be a $125 + tax fee per stay (limit two pets). However, pets stay FREE when you book your getaway directly with us!
Pet owners will be asked to fill out a waiver form accepting responsibility for any damage or cleaning charges that may occur while at the hotel.
Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?
We do offer pet free rooms.
How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
You'll find a grass parkway right outside of our front entry.
