What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made via email to cancel@campmargaritavilleauburndale.com. We do not accept cancellations by phone. The policy outlined below may not apply if booked with a promotional offer. Please refer to the specific offer online for cancellation terms.
Cancellation Policy:
- Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.
- Camp Margaritaville Auburndale exclusively determines refund requests. Request for special refunds or credits must be made in writing providing full proof of emergency circumstances claimed.
- Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature or evictions.
- Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid.
For reservations less than 30 nights:
- Cancellations that are more than 14 days from your arrival date will incur a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 14 days will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations not made in writing will forfeit their deposit.
- For stays less than 30 nights, no refunds or credits will be issued if shortening reservation dates less than 14 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellations made on day of arrival will forfeit their total stay cost.
*Promotional rates may have a different cancellation policy than our standard policy.
For reservations more than 30 nights:
- Cancellations less than 45 days prior to arrival for stays 30 nights or more will incur a $1,000 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 14 days will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations not made in writing will forfeit their deposit.
- For stays 30 nights or more, no credits or refunds will be issued if shortening reservation dates less than 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellations made on day of arrival will forfeit their total stay cost.
How do I modify an existing reservation?
A current reservation can be modified by calling our reservations team at 863-455-7335 ext. 2. Please review our reservation modification policy below.
Reservation Modification:
- All changes to an existing reservation are subject to a minimum $25 change fee. These fees are non-refundable. Stays 30 nights or more are subject to a $125.00 change fee. Multiple changes will result in multiple non-refundable change fees.
- Modifying the dates of an existing reservation is subject to the prevailing rates and any updated fees.
What is your No Show policy?
Any RV owner or Cabin Renter that has not arrived 24 hours after their check-in time and has not made prior arrangements with Resort Team will be considered a "no show" reservation and forfeit their full reservation amount.
How much is the Resort Fee?
Effective 1/1/24, our resort fee is $17.00 per day. Our resort fee allows us to provide first-class amenities, services, and activities for our guests to enjoy during their stay, including:

For guests staying with us longer, we have a weekly fee of $60.00 and a monthly resort fee of $200.00.
Note: The daily resort fee will also allow us to continue adding and expanding our amenities, activities and services.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature or evictions. Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form this it was originally paid.
Do you offer on-site dining options?
Camp Margaritaville Auburndale offers an array of tasty onsite dining options, including The Feeding Frenzy, Frank & Lola's Pizzeria and Sunbaked BBQ. An Ice Cream Food Truck satisfies every sweet tooth while grab-n-go items can be found in our convenient Camp Store or from the occasional visiting Food Trucks. For those seeking additional variety yet convenience, we are just a short 5 mile drive away from grocery stores Walmart, Aldi and Publix.
Do you offer discounts to local attractions for your guests?

Is the swimming pool heated?
Yes, our pools are heated year round.
Do you sell day passes to local guests to enjoy the amenities?
We love our local community and are happy to share our Resort Pass. It's time you got an up close look of paradise!

Do you offer golf cart rentals?
The best way to get around Camp Margaritaville is by golf cart! We offer 4-passenger and 6-passenger golf cart rentals for your convenience. Advance reservations are recommended. Guests must be 18 years or older to operate a rental golf cart.
External golf cart companies are not permitted on site.
Can I bring my own golf cart?
Yes, personal golf carts are permitted. Drivers must be 16 years or older and have a valid driver's license. Guests must register their cart at check-in and show proof of insurance to use your cart during your stay at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale. Separate rules and regulations must be signed. No ATV or Side-by-Sides allowed.
External golf cart companies are not permitted on site.
Do you offer e-Bike rentals?
If you are looking for a way to not only get around the resort, but explore the local trail, we offer e-Bike rentals. Advance reservations are recommended.
What types of RVs are allowed at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale?
We welcome the following types of RVs: factory manufactured Pop-up Trailers, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Truck Campers and Class A, B, and C Motor Homes. All recreational vehicles must be RVIA certified. A photo of any camper that is older than 10 years must be sent to reservations@campmargaritavilleauburndale.com prior to making a booking or arrival.
Can I wash my RV while staying on-site at the resort?
We require guests to use a detail service and have a list of detail companies if needed.
Do you allow Tent Camping?
Our Resort policy does not allow for tent camping or truck tent camping, and we do not currently have any tent sites. Our policy allows for factory manufactured Pop-up Trailers, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Truck Campers and Class A, B, and C Motor Homes.
Is the resort cashless?
Our resort is cashless. All of our services including food, drinks, and merchandise can be paid for with credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay. However, our on-site laundry facilities require cash only.
Can I have mail shipped to the resort?
Yes! All letters and packages are delivered to the camp store. We recommend guests match the name listed on their reservation to the name on their shipment; This allows staff to notify the guest as soon as their mail arrives!
Do you allow 3rd party vendors to service guests?
Vendors:
3rd party vendors must obtain approval from GM prior to entering or providing services. As a vendor, you will also be required to submit a current Certificate of Insurance. Please send an email to Reservations@CampMargaritavilleAuburndale.com Attn: General Manager for further information.
Independently hired entertainment or entertainment acts not hired through or in agreement with Camp Margaritaville Auburndale is strictly prohibited. Independently hired entertainment of any kind creates a conflict of interest between the guest and the resort and may result in the removal of the hiring party from Camp Margaritaville Auburndale RV Resort and Cabana Cabins with no refund or reimbursement.

Where can I refill my RV propane?
We now offer propane refills daily from 9:00-11:00 AM & 3:00-5:00 PM. See Ranger Station for service.
Do you allow marshmallow roasting on the gas fire pits?
We prohibit marshmallow roasting on the gas firepits.
Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages or cooler to the common areas?
As per our liquor license regulations, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in our public spaces.
Only alcohol purchased at the Tiki Bar, License to Chill Bar, or the Camp Store may be brought to the Pool and other common areas.
Coolers and personal alcohol must remain and be consumed at your site or cabin.
Children are not permitted to sit at the bar.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes, we have a bathhouse and 2 laundry facilities for guests' use.
What are the additional fees?
Effective June 27, 2023, all reservations will be subject to a non-refundable booking fee. This booking fee amounts to 3.2% of the total stay cost.
Effective May 15, 2024, phone reservations will be subject to a $4.00 non-refundable admin fee.
When is check-in and check-out for the RV sites?
Check-in: 2:00 pm
Check-out: 11:00 am
*Early check-in is based upon availability. Late check-out fee is $30 for each guest who wishes to stay and use the amenities. Late check-out is not an option if your site is reserved for the same day. Contact the resort office for further details.
Parking in the staging lanes after departure from the site is not permitted without contacting the reservations team.
May I change RV sites if I don't like the one I am assigned?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite RV site or cabin location by paying our applicable lock in fee. If you opt out of the lock in fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin category type, but not the specific site or cabin number.
What is the difference between Premium RV Sites and Standard RV Sites?
Our Premium Sites have a more desirable view or are in a location closer to the resort amenities. They are the same size and offer the same hookups as our Standard Sites.
What are the rates for RV sites?
Rates vary by season and length of stay. If you are looking for an extended stay, please call the office at (863) 455-7335 or email us at Reservations@CampMargaritavilleAuburndale.com.
Do RV sites have full hookups?
Yes, every site here at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale has a full hookup.
What is permitted on our site?
- Only customary outdoor patio or lawn furniture and accessories may be left outside. Golf carts and bicycles can be kept outside on the site. Tools, toys and other such items must be stored inside or under the RV.
- Larger outdoor recreational items, including but not limited to kayaks, paddle boards, coolers, fishing equipment must be organized and neatly stored beneath the RV with every attempt to conceal these stored items and maintain site aesthetics.
- Please do not remove picnic tables from their sites without resort approval.
- Please close awnings, canopies and umbrellas when your RV is unattended. Strong winds can cause serious damage and or loss of property.
Allowed:
- Enclosed Cargo Trailer - Cargo Trailers are for cargo only (NOT LIVING SPACE)
- Outdoor patio furniture
- Drying Rack (for swimwear / towels only)
- One (1) golf cart
- Bicycles (No more than the number of guests registered on the site. Don't forget your bike helmet. Florida does not require it, but we strongly recommend that all riders wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. Bicycle riders must obey the same rules of the road as motor vehicle.

Are there any dog breeds that are not allowed at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale?
Non-aggressive pets are welcome. All pets must have up to date vaccination records and registration. Proof of these items may be required by Camp Margaritaville Auburndale during your stay. Failure to produce valid documentation will result in immediate removal from the resort. Noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. There is a maximum of 3 pets (dogs and cats) on RV sites and a maximum of 1 pet (dogs only), 35lbs or less, in our designated pet-friendly cabins. No wild or exotic animals are allowed. Camp Margaritaville Auburndale and its Management / Owners are not responsible for and will hold the pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). Is the resort wheelchair-friendly?
Yes, our resort is wheel-chair friendly. Ask our staff about our wheelchair friendly cabins and wheelchair friendly pull thru sites.
What is your cancellation policy for groups or celebrations?
CANCELLATIONS AFTER GUARANTEED DUE DATE
In the event of any cancellation or partial cancellation of individual food and beverage functions after the Food and Beverage Attendance Guarantee Date, Resort will charge Group for 100% of the guaranteed amount set forth on the Event Order. Guaranteed date is anywhere from 14 to 30 days prior to event.
Can I arrange a special event such as a business meeting, wedding, or family reunion at the resort?
We have an onsite coordinator who will handle all event requests. Please contact groups@campmargaritavilleauburndale.com for more information.
What Covid-19 Guidelines are Enforced at The Resort?
Masks are optional. There is plenty of outdoor space to spread out. We also recommend that guests and visitors adhere to CDC guidance.
What are guests required to do when the siren sounds at the swimming pools?
Guests are required to vacate the swimming pools immediately when the siren sounds. Please remain clear of the pools until the alarm rings three times, signaling it's safe to return. Our team may also advise you when it's unsafe to use the pools; your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
What measures are taken at Camp Margaritaville to ensure guest safety during a thunderstorm or lighting event?
During this season, Florida often experiences rain and thunderstorms. To ensure your safety, we've installed a sophisticated weather system on the main building of our camp store at Camp Margaritaville. In the event of a lightning strike within a 7-mile radius of the camp, a siren will sound as an alert. The siren will cease thereafter, but a flashing light will continue for at least 30 minutes from the last detected lightning strike.
What happens to scheduled activities during inclement weather?
If available, scheduled activities will be moved to the Paradise Pavilion during inclement weather. Please allow our team members ample time to move and set up equipment in the Pavilion.

What are guests required to do when the siren sounds at the Tiki Bar?
Guests are required to vacate the Tiki Bar immediately when the siren sounds. Our Tiki Bar is required to shut down for a minimum of 30 minutes if there is lightening nearby. Please remain clear of the area until the alarm rings three times, signaling it's safe to return.
