In Margaritaville, fostering a shared responsibility for the well-being of our staff, guests and community has been one of our guiding principles for over 20 years. As we welcome guests and team members to our hotels, resorts, and restaurants, we stand committed to our passion of creating and delivering fun and escapism in a safe, comfortable and worry-free paradise.
All Margaritaville locations have received comprehensive health and sanitation protocols and have completed a 172-point verification process, including brand health training for all management and staff returning to work. These brand standards were carefully developed based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Restaurant Association (NRA), and American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA).
We continue to closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control, the State of Florida and Monroe County's statements and follow guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
The well-being of our guests and team members is of the utmost importance and we are taking the below steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.
CLEANING REGIMEN ENHANCEMENTS:
Margaritaville Beach House is committed to high standards of cleanliness. Specific areas include high touch point surfaces sanitized with hospital grade disinfectant throughout the resort. Our team members are centering their efforts on disinfecting with increased frequency of all public areas including our lobby, airport/downtown shuttles, fitness center, and restrooms.
Guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, focusing on high touch points. Housekeeping services will not be scheduled during your stay to limit the amount of people entering your room. Hotel team members are available 24/7 to assist with any requests throughout your stay.
Our food and beverage outlets are redesigned to allow for social distancing and team members are trained on safe food handling with increased focus on sanitizing each table before reuse. We have an in room dining option for convenience from 7:00AM-1:00PM. Fresh brewed coffee is conveniently served daily in the lobby from 7:00AM-11:00AM. Coffee and tea is also available at Margaritaville Provisions where hand sanitizing stations are present and disinfected regularly.
Our pool and fitness center are open and hand sanitizing stations are available for use along with frequent disinfecting by our team members. We ask that you practice social distancing with guests at the resort.
OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR TEAM MEMBERS:
Our team members are trained on proven measures to prevent the spread of potentially infectious substances. Team members have been provided with appropriate safety gear for their positions. Any team member showing symptoms of COVID-19 are sent home and welcomed back when it is safe for them to return as deemed by a medical professional.
OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS:
We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and require additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. Our health and safety measures include everything from hand washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures.
We ask that anyone who feels unwell or has been in recent contact with someone with COVID-19 postpone their travel for the safety of other guests and our team members.
