Of course, our friendly concierge is always on hand to provide recommendations and assist with tickets and transportation. Take a look at the best activities in the area and plan the perfect itinerary.

The Island in Pigeon Forge

Anchored by The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, this Pigeon Forge entertainment complex has more than 80 retail and specialty shops, rides and games, a dancing fountain choreographed to lights and music, attractions, a distillery, a brewery, free live music and a number of popular restaurants.

Dollywood

Tennessee’s #1 ticketed attraction, Dollywood is a must-see if you’re visiting the area. Owned and developed by singer, songwriter, actress, philanthropist and Smoky Mountains native Dolly Parton, this spectacular theme park has something for everyone: water rides, roller coasters, restaurants, mountain arts and crafts, stores and more than 30 performances a day.

Dinner Shows & Entertainment

Dinner shows are a longtime staple of the region, combining community, entertainment and great local cuisine. Make sure to check out The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show, Dolly’s Stampede and the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show. Additional theaters include The Comedy Barn, located within walking distance, and various musical shows including Smoky Mountain Opry, Country Tonight and Soul of Motown.

Museums

Pigeon Forge and Sevier County offer a great selection of museum attractions including Alcatraz Crime Museum, located on The Island, within walking distance, Titanic Museum Attraction, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Hollywood Wax Museum, Beyond the Lens and more.

Shopping

Year-round shopping is always a great reason to visit the Smokies. Ride the elevator down and explore the great selection of Island shops offering everything from puzzles, Tervis Tumblers, fine art and fashion boutiques to Emory’s Five and Dime. Grab the city trolley and explore additional popular shopping stops including Tanger Factory Outlets, the Shops at Christmas Place, Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet and the new Riverview Factory Stores, located behind the hotel on Teaster Lane.
