Summer Questions
What are the age and height restrictions for the attractions?
All attractions vary on height requirements. For specific ride requirements, please visit our Water Park page.
What can I bring to the Water Park?
Beach Equipment: Although we have chairs and umbrellas available for rent, you are welcome to bring your own, as our rental supplies are limited. For your convenience, items such as sunglasses, hats, towels, and sunscreen are also for sale at our gift shops.
Food/Beverages: No food or beverage items can be brought into the Water Park other than bottled water.
*If you have a dietary or medical food requirement that requires you bring your own food, please let our attendant at the gate know and we will provide you with a designated medical cooler.
Are there beach chairs available at the Water Park?
We do have lounger chairs and sand chairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Paradise Beach at no charge. Lounge clusters are available for rent in the central part of the beach for $30.00 that includes two chairs and one umbrella. Individual chairs are $5.00 on busier days. Guests may want to bring in their own chairs.
Do you rent cabanas/umbrellas?
The large umbrellas located throughout the park are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we also have smaller umbrellas that are $20.00 for the entire day available for rent at our beach rentals location.
Can I bring my own tent or canopy?
You may bring your own tent or canopy, a max size of 10X10, to use on the beach if it is unobtrusive to other guests and does not interfere with their enjoyment of the park.
Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, courtesy personal flotation devices (PFD) are available next to the wave pool at our Main Rentals location. They are first-come, first-served.
If I exit the park, can I reenter?
Yes, your Water Park admission is valid for the remainder of the day after you enter. To reenter and utilize the attractions, keep your wristband on for the duration of the day. Wristbands must be worn to be valid for use. Altered, broken, or unworn wristbands are not valid.
*Please be advised you will have your temperature checked each time you renter the park.
How many slides do you have?
<p>We have a total of 10 slides and 5 other attractions.</p>
Do you provide tubes? How much do they cost?
All of the slides that require tubes are provided for them at each respective attraction. Tubes are also available to rent for season pass holders only, if you would prefer to keep the tube with you all day and to use in the lake or wave pool.
Can I bring my own tube/float?
Personal tubes and flotation devices may only be used in the lake. They may not be used in the wave pool or on any of the slides.
Do you have an ATM? Can I get cash back?
Yes, we have one ATM located Landshark Bar and Grill. No outlets offer cash back on debit/ATM cards or checks.
Do you have lockers? Where are they located and the cost?
We have lockers in three locations- next to the wave pool, at Paradise Beach Rentals, and at LandShark Landing. Prices range from $12-20 depending on the size of the locker.
What are the park hours?

What is the water temperature? Depth?
The water temperature fluctuates with the weather; the temperature is not regulated. The water depth varies for each attraction, varying from a few inches to eight feet for the Fin Dunker.
I have a small child; What is there for him/her to do?
Our Fun Zone area is designed exclusively for the children under 48” tall. There are smaller slides and water attractions along with a small version of our wave pool located in this area. For safety, children in this area must be under 48” tall. The beach/lake, wave pool has no height requirements and are suitable for children of all ages.
Is there a shuttle to my car?
There is a shuttle service for Legacy Lodge hotel guests to various locations around the resort. Margaritaville tram service begins mid-summer.
Do you sell food/drink inside the park?
Yes! You can enjoy a meal at various locations throughout the park from Shark Shack, to Paradise Beach Cantina, Frank& Lola’s Pizzeria, License to Chill, and LandShark Landing. We also have smaller concessions including Bucky’s Snack Shack and ICEE Oasis.
Where can I buy alcohol? Can I bring my own?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Alcohol sales are located in various areas of the park including Tiki Hut, at LandShark Landing and License to Chill.
Can I bring my own stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome in the park. There is fun for the entire family!
I have an infant; Does he/she need to have a ticket?
Children 2 years of age and younger are not required to have a ticket; they are free.
What is the clothing requirement? Can I wear… Jeans, shorts, shoes, jewelry, t-shirts, etc. on the rides?
Cut-offs (frayed clothing), jeans/denim, jewelry, and shoes are not permitted on the rides. Clothing with rivets or metal attachments is also not permitted. For safety reasons, some attractions do not allow for loose clothing, such as pants, t-shirts, or cover-ups. In lieu of these items, form-fitting rash guards or swim shirts are recommended.
Do you have a public phone?
We do not have any public telephones available for use.
Do you have a First Aid Station?
Yes. First Aid is located next to Paradise Beach between Double Down and Splashdown attractions. It is staffed during park hours with a certified EMT.
How old does my child need to be to go in the park without an adult?
It is recommended that an adult accompany anyone under the age of 16. After 6PM, an adult must accompany minors under the age of 18.
Is your park handicap accessible?
We have handicap parking available at each parking lot. Please note, most attractions require the use of stairs.
What if I get separated from my child?
It is always a good idea to have a meeting place if any members of your party get separated. If you become separated from your child, you can notify any park associate or got o the information booth on the beach near the bathrooms at Paradise.
What is your rain policy? Refund policy?
The water park does not issue rain checks or refunds for the inclement weather. It is advisable to view the local forecast prior to your visit. Outdoor attractions may be suspended in the event of heavy rains, high winds, and lightning. If the attractions have been suspended for longer than 90 minutes due to inclement weather, see an admission associate for further information.
How do I know if the park is closing?
You may call our Guest Relations team at 470-323-3440 any date that operations may be affected by weather.
Can I bring a picnic lunch to the water park?
No outside food/beverage is allowed except an unopened bottle of water can be brought into the water park. If you wish to bring a picnic lunch, you may leave it in your vehicle and enjoy it outside the water park gates.
If I am dropping my kids off at the park, do I still have to pay for parking?
Vehicles that enter Lanier Islands must pay the $15 resort fee for parking, regardless of the duration of your stay. If you’re a season pass holder, parking is included when you present your season pass card to the attendant.
Is smoking permitted inside the park?
Smoking is permitted within designated areas only- Beach Bar and License to Chill Bar. All other areas of the park remain smoke (including vapor) and tobacco-free.
Are pets allowed inside the park?
Aside from service animals, pets are generally not permitted inside the water park, only in designated areas at LandShark Landing.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Margaritaville at Lanier Islands accept payment in the form of cash, credit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), checks (subject to approval), and travelers checks.
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. For lost and found items, see the attendant at the information booth.
Do you have a paging or PA system to call someone?
We do NOT have a paging/PA system.
Do you have wireless internet access inside the water park?
Wireless internet access is available in most areas of the water park. Please use the IslandsGuest network.
Can I buy sunscreen at the park?
Yes! We have sunscreen available for purchase at all of our gift shops.
Do you offer group rates on tickets?
Yes! You may purchase Daily water park tickets at the group rate of $33.99 when you have group of 15+. Please visit our Margaritaville at Lanier Islands ticket page for more ticket options and pricing information.
Do you offer Senior or Military discounts to the water park?

Can I upgrade my ticket to a season pass?
Yes! You can upgrade your Daily Admission by presenting your itemized receipt at our admission gates.
Do I have to pay admission if I am just staying at the Beach?
Guests wishing to just visit the beach can purchase our daily beach access fee of $9.99 or $14.99 on holiday weekends and enjoy access to LandShark Landing Beach, License to Chill food outlets and Lakeside Link miniature golf.
What procedures do you have in place to keep guests and team members safe?
The health and safety of our guests and team members remain our number one priority. We will be implementing new health and safety guidelines based on guidance from the CDC and state and local officials. Winter Questions
How tall is Blizzard Mountain?
Blizzard Mountain is bigger and better! Measuring 575 feet long and 8 stories high, you’ll have to hold on to your feathers as you race down!
What are the height restrictions for Blizzard Mountain?
Blizzard Mountain requires a minimum height of 42” tall to race down. One person per tube.
What is the cost of a general admission ticket?
Pricing varies between Value Days and Peak Days. You can purchase a Regular Admission ticket for $39.99 per person on Value Days and $44.99 on Peak Days. This ticket will give you access to unlimited snow tubing, snow play areas, amusement rides and ice skating. Do you offer group rate on tickets?
Yes! Pricing varies between Value Days and Peak Days. You may purchase License to Chill Snow Island tickets at the group rate of $29.99 on Value Days and $34.99 on Peak Days when you have a group of 15+. Can I pay individually for attractions?
Yes! Most attractions at License to Chill Snow Island can be purchased individually by tickets. Click here for our Activity Ticket Pricing Sheet for ticket pricing and requirements.
Note: Margaritaville’s Lakeside Lights Spectacular does not accept tickets.
I just want to experience Margaritaville’s Lakeside Lights Spectacular, do I have to purchase a general admission ticket?
No. You can purchase admission to the light display show only for $19.99 on Value Days and $24.99 on Peak Days. If you would like to experience both the light show and License to Chill Snow Island, we suggest purchasing our Premium Fun Pass. What is the gate fee to enter Lanier Islands Resort?
Lanier Islands Resort charges a $20.00 daily gate and parking fee for every vehicle that visits the resort. Resort access/parking is included with our winter season passes.
Can I leave and return to the park on the same day?
Admission to Snow Island is valid the duration of the day from the time of first entry. To reenter with attraction privileges, you must be wearing your wristband. If your wristband is removed, you will not be able to utilize the attractions until you purchase a new wristband or ride tickets.
Lanier Islands daily resort access and parking is valid for reentry on the same day of purchase by presenting your parking receipt.
What forms of payment does Margaritaville at Lanier Islands accept?
Margaritaville at Lanier Islands accepts payments in the form of cash, credit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), and traveler's checks.
For added convenience and for the health and safety of our guests and team members, contactless payments are available at most locations in the park. This includes contactless cards and mobile payments such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay.

Does License to Chill Snow Island have a Season Pass? How can I upgrade?
Yes! We offer Season Pass for License to Chill Snow Island. You can upgrade your Daily Admission by presenting your itemized receipt at our admission gates on the same day of your visit.
What time does Margaritaville's Lakeside Lights Spectacular start?
Margaritaville's Lakeside Lights Spectacular begins every night of the holiday season at 5 PM. Please check here for the full hours of operation.
How long does the winter season last?
Margaritaville’s Lakeside Lights Spectacular runs nightly at 5 PM from Nov 20th through Jan 5th then weekends only through Feb. 21st. License to Chill Snow Island is open Nov 6-8, 13-15 and daily from Nov 20th through Jan 5th then weekends only through Feb. 21st. Do I have to pay an admission fee if I am just walking throughout the park and not participating in any of the attractions?
No. Admission to License to Chill Snow Island without access to the rides and attractions is complimentary.
Is there a place where I can take a photo with Santa?
Yes, Santa will be visiting Paradise! You can get your photo and tell Santa (with social distancing protocols in place) your wish list at Santa's Work Shop and Gift Shop. He will be here nightly Nov 6th through Dec 24th. Visits, which include one photo print our and digital download, are $10 per family (up to six people) or four ride tickets. One visit and photo print with digital download are included with our Ultimate Winter Chill Season Pass.
Can I bring food inside the park?
No outside food/beverage except for bottled water can be brought into the park. If you wish to bring a picnic lunch, you may leave it in your vehicle and enjoy it outside the park gates.
Are pets/animals allowed inside the park?
Aside from service animals, pets and other animals are not permitted inside the park.

What's the best way to dress for a visit to License to Chill Snow Island?
The Thrills and Chills are here! We also have real snow, so you are sure to feel a little cool and wet. Be sure to dress warm during your visit as all attractions are located outdoors. You might consider wearing water resistant clothes including gloves and boots.
Do you have an ATM? Can I get cash back?
No. There are not ATMs available in the park. No outlets offer cash back on debit/ATM cards or checks.

I have a small child, what is there for him/her to do?
Our snow play areas are designed for guests of all ages. Amusement rides do vary in height requirements, so please check with an admission attendant on what rides your little one can ride before purchasing your ticket.
Is there a shuttle to my car? To Legacy Lodge or RV Resort?
There is no shuttle service between parking lots, and service to the Legacy Lodge and Margaritaville RV have been suspended due to current social distancing guidelines.
Do you have wireless internet access inside the park?
Wireless internet access is available in most areas of the park. Please use the IslandsGuest network.
