Join us at the Jolly Mon Water Park for an unforgettable adventure with the Margaritaville Mermaid. This unique experience includes:
- Swim Like A Mermaid demonstration, lessons, and practice
- Photo opportunity with the Margaritaville Mermaid
- Souvenir seashell dive and keep activity
- Certificate of Completion
A water station will be available. You may bring your own mermaid tail, swim goggles, and/or snorkel gear. No mermaid tail ? No problem! Simply show up! Everyone can participate, even without equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: This activity requires all participants to be able to swim. A parent or guardian must be present with their child, though they are not required to participate. Life guards will be on duty during the experience. This academy can be strenuous and will burn calories. Know your limits! Notify your mermaid if you have any limitations. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations to the program. We encourage underwater photography with waterproof equipment such as GoPro‘s, underwater cameras, waterproof iPhone cases, etc.

Resort Guests, Members, and Day Pass holders can access Jolly Mon Water Park at any time during the day.
Other participants will not be allowed to enter the water park until just before the event is to begin. Entrance to the water park is limited to ticket holders and two additional chaperones per party. After the event is finished, they may enjoy the water park amenities until the end of the day. If additional members of your group would like water park access, you may purchase a Day Pass through the link below.

* By purchasing a ticket, purchaser assumes all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and releases, absolves and holds harmless Margaritaville Lake Resort and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from the Mermaid Academy. In case of injury to said child, purchaser hereby waives all claims against Margaritaville Lake Resort including all staff and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all water activities. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.
