Yes. The minimum age to check-in is 21.  

A refundable deposit equal to the first night's room and tax will be charged on your credit card at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Cancellations must be made seven (7) days prior to arrival to avoid forfeiting the deposit amount.

 This policy and the seasonal dates are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Resort.          

We currently allow dogs to stay in designated lake cottages and on the first floor of the Tower on property with the proper reservation. Check out our Dog FAQ page to learn more.

We are a smoke-free facility, however there are designated smoking areas throughout the grounds.

Yes, the resort is ADA accessible. ADA guest rooms are available with roll-in showers, hearing impaired features, wider doorways, and extra grab bars in the showers (select rooms). Restaurants, pool areas, and public spaces are all ADA accessible.  

Yes, children are welcome at the resort! We have a three-acre water park, multiple pools, a sandy beach, a miniature-golf course, an arcade, and supervised daily activities for children.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM CST. Early check-in is based on availability on the day of your arrival.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM CST. Late check-out is based on availability on the day of your departure.

Yes, we have two charging stations, a Tesla charging station and a standard EV station which has an adapter. For liability reasons, our valet team is required to assist you with pulling your car up to the charging station.

The mini-golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, water park, beach, and boat rentals are reserved for hotel guests only, however our golf course, on-site spa, and sit-down restaurants (LandShark Bar & Grill, License to Chill, Joe Merchant's and Playin' A Round Cafe) are all open to the public.

A daily resort fee of $45 plus tax is added to all room rates.

Yes, there are 50+ boat slips of varying sizes available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a boat launch area for resort guests.

No, LandShark Bar & Grill is open to both the public and resort guests.

All of our guest suites are equipped with mini refrigerators and Keurig Coffee Makers.

We do not provide airport transportation, however taxis and app-based car services are readily available at our location.

In keeping with State and Federal law, an "“Assistance animal” and “service animal” mean a canine that is specially trained or equipped to help a person with a disability and is used by the person." No other kinds of assistance animals are allowed in rooms or on property. 

Some breeds are restricted at the resort: Boxers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Akitas, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, Mastiffs, Malamutes, Great Danes, Cane Corso, Chow Chows, Huskies and Wolf Hybrids. Mixed breeds may be evaluated on a case-by-case scenario. This restriction does not apply to service animals.

A dog staying at our resort may not to exceed 50 pounds. This restriction does not apply to service animals.

There is a maximum of two dogs per room, per stay.

There is an additional fee of $150 per stay for up to 2 dogs in designated dog friendly cottages and tower suites. Some restrictions may apply, reach out to front desk for more information.

Only dogs are allowed to stay in the cottages and tower suites at the resort.

For our guest safety there are designated areas where dogs are allowed. As a general rule, dogs are not allowed where food is prepared, stored, and/or served; in the fitness center, spa, and/or in pool areas. This restriction does not apply to service animals.

No, under no circumstances are dogs allowed in these areas.

Yes, guest(s) will be required to pay for any damage to resort and/or any personal injuries resulting from or caused by their dog(s). The hotel reserves the right to charge the account/credit card commensurate to the cost of such damages, including loss of rental income.

Failure to comply with these guidelines can result in removal from the resort without reimbursement for your stay. Please use discretion and ask the front desk if you have any questions or concerns.

Our waterslides operate on a seasonal schedule during the fall and winter. After the Labor Day Weekend, they are open Thursday through Sunday until November 1, when they close for the fall/winter season. They will reopen in March on a limited basis until Memorial Day weekend through the summer months, when they will be open seven days a week. Weekday closures are primarily due to reduced guest usage and lifeguard availability, as most of our lifeguards are students attending school.

Absolutely. The 18-hole golf course at The Golf Club at Margaritaville Lake Resort is open year-round, weather permitting. Cooler months are a great time to play with crisp air, beautiful lake views, and fewer crowds. Tee times can be booked online or through pro shop.

Yes - Einstein’s Surf & Boat Shop rents pontoons, tritoons, jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards, novelty boats, and other types of watercraft throughout the year, weather permitting. It’s a great way to enjoy Lake Conroe in every season.
