Hotel Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an age minimum for check-in at the resort?
Yes. The minimum age to check-in is 21.
What is your cancellation policy?
A refundable deposit equal to the first night's room and tax will be charged on your credit card at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival in the off season and seven (7) days prior to arrival in peak season (March 10-18, 2023, and May 26-September 3, 2023) to avoid forfeiting the deposit amount.
This policy and the seasonal dates are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Resort.
Are pets welcome at the resort? What facilities and services are available for pets?
We are currently not a pet-friendly resort.
Is smoking allowed at the resort?
We are a smoke-free facility, however there are designated smoking areas throughout the grounds.
Does the resort offer parking?
Yes, self-parking is included under the nightly resort fee. Valet parking is also available for $26 per night, or $18 for day and event parking.
Is the resort ADA accessible? What accessible features are offered?
Yes, the resort is ADA accessible. ADA guest rooms are available with roll-in showers, hearing impaired features, wider doorways, and extra grab bars in the showers (select rooms). Restaurants, pool areas, and public spaces are all ADA accessible.
Are children welcome at the resort? What facilities and services are available for children?
Yes, children are welcome at the resort! We have a three-acre water park, multiple pools, a sandy beach, a miniature-golf course, an arcade, and supervised daily activities for children in our Parakeets Kid’s Club.
Can I receive mail and packages at the resort?
Yes, at no extra charge.
What time is check-in? Is early check-in possible?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM CST. Early check-in is based on availability on the day of your arrival.
What time is checkout? Is late checkout possible?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM CST. Late check-out is based on availability on the day of your departure.
Does the resort have car charging stations?
Yes, we have one Tesla charging station and one EV charging station. For liability reasons, our valet team is required to assist you with pulling your car up to the charging station, but you will not be charged for their assistance.
Can we come and spend the day at the resort if we’re not staying there?
The mini-golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, water park, beach, and boat rentals are reserved for hotel guests only, however our golf course, on-site spa, and sit-down restaurants (LandShark Bar & Grill, License to Chill, Joe Merchant's and Playin' A Round Cafe) are all open to the public.
What does the $45 nightly resort fee cover?
A daily resort fee of $45 plus tax is added to all room rates.
This entitles you to:
- High speed WIFI in guest suites and public spaces
- Complimentary intra-resort transportation
- Access to our self-service business center, The Coconut Telegraph
- In-room coffee and tea service
- Two complimentary bottles of water in your suite
- Unlimited local telephone calls
- Live entertainment, on select days only
- Pool towel service
- Golf bag handling and storage
- Unlimited access to the following resort amenities:
- Jolly Mon Water Park with multiple pools, splash pad, waterslides, lazy river, and hot tub
- Fins Up! Fitness Center with modern free weights and cardio machines, CrossFit and Pilates equipment, three studio rooms, racquetball courts, and indoor cycling
- Golf practice facilities
- Parrot Island Mini Golf
- Private beach
- Fin City Arcade, charges apply for games
- Tennis, pickleball, and multi-sport courts
Can we bring our boat?
Yes, there are 50+ boat slips of varying sizes available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a boat launch area for resort guests.
We would like to have dinner at LandShark Bar & Grill. Do we have to be a hotel guest?
No, LandShark Bar & Grill is open to both the public and resort guests.
Do the rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers in them?
All of our guest suites are equipped with mini refrigerators and Keurig Coffee Makers.
Does the resort provide airport transportation?
We do not provide airport transportation, however taxis and app-based car services are readily available at our location.
