The Lost Shaker of Salt Scavenger Hunt
This event is truly one of a kind and can accommodate smaller parties. The scavenger hunt will lead you throughout the resort while looking for a few clues that will lead your team to find the secret ingredients to Jimmy’s Famous Perfect Margarita, including the missing Saltshaker. You will have an opportunity to win bonus points, including who finishes first! Opportunities for team photo challenges. Beginning and ending in the meeting space. Top winning team members each takes home a Margaritaville swag prize! Activity is based on teams of 4-5 with a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 50.
Start this event off by learning how to make our Perfect Margarita from one of our Mixologists. After the demonstration your guests will be split into teams. Each table will be set with necessary items and a separate table will be set with ingredients to make a variety of margaritas. Items will include various juices, sodas, rums, tequilas, limes, sugars, etc. Each team must go to the “shopping” table and use those ingredients to make their own margarita. Depending on what the client wants, teams can either share the ingredients equally or provide them on a first come, first serve basis. For the first come, first serve option we will have a trivia question determining which team goes first. Questions can be company-specific, Texas-related or Jimmy Buffett themed! Activity requires a minimum of 30 participants.
The ultimate sink or swim challenge. Each team is given an identical set of materials and one hour to build a boat. Teams then race against each other in one of our pools or in our private cove. Materials include: three 60” x 100” sheets of cardboard, two paddles, one razor blade knife, one roll of plastic wrap and 90 yards of duct tape. Activity is based on 8-50 participants.
Make yourself a genuine Margaritaville “fun tee” with this project which lets participants craft their own eye-catching tie dye t-shirt with the client’s choice of colors. Select from a variety of designs! Event includes t-shirts (*screen print of your company logo on shirts with ability to tie-dye them in your company colors), dyes, and plenty of 70s-era Jimmy Buffett music to be had! Activity requires a minimum of 10 days for ordering supplies along with a list of t-shirt sizes needed for group. For custom logo shirts, a 2–3week lead-time is required. Dyed t-shirts are sent home for guest to finish with laundry instructions.
Filled with obstacles and a fun photo opportunity with our Margaritaville parrot, our 18-hole miniature golf course is a charming challenge with a WACKY twist. This crazy tournament features unusual putting challenges including one leg putts, pool-style, blindfolded, dizzy and more. Activity is based on 4-50 participants.
Alley lines will be drawn in the sand on our private beach on the shores of Lake Conroe – after that, the fun begins! Prepare for a challenge as teams create a fun team name and use real coconuts as bowling balls and try to knock down the “pineapples” at the end of their lane. We promise, it’s harder than it sounds! Points are tallied at the end of the time and the top three winning teams take home a medal for their prize! Reception time: Pina Colada’s are served the last 30 minutes of the event. Activity is based on 8-45 participants.
Challenge your attendees with our one of a kind pickleball tournament! Pickleball is a paddle sport for all ages and all skill levels that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. We provide your group with master score keepers and a FINtastic lakeside location. Activity is based on 4-16 participants.
Heaven on earth with an onion slice. Create your own signature cheeseburger using only the ingredients from our fresh-stocked pantry. Choose from smoked beef brisket or local ground beef and a wide assortment of condiments and toppings, then off you go! Each team will need to make one (1) burger to submit to the judges, and will be judged on presentation, flavor and creativity by members of the Resort Team. Activity requires a minimum of 30 participants.
Teams must stay within their designated spot on our private beach along Lake Conroe, and no sand may be added or removed from your team’s location. Only materials found on the beach may be used in the finished sculpture. Tools included to build your castle are: 2 large buckets, 2 small buckets and 3 shovels. The Resort Team will judge the finished masterpieces. Activity requires a maximum of 50 participants. A 7-day lead time is required on this event.
Groups will compete in a series of fun-filled and competitive challenges on our private beach along Lake Conroe, facilitated by a host from the Resort Team. Show off your skills with classic beach games such as relay races, 3 legged races, tug-of-war, flip flop challenge, blind & find, hula hoop challenge, water balloon toss, pipeline and more. The winning team will take home medals based on the grand total score tally at the end of all events. Activity is based on 10-50 participants.
