Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Community Charity Initiatives
South Lake Tahoe, CA (December 2025) – This holiday season, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is proud to give back to the community through a series of meaningful charitable initiatives supporting local families, children, and heroic four-legged first responders.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the resort team recently supported 15 families with full Thanksgiving meals, partnering with Vista Rise Collective to create Thanksgiving food boxes for families in need. This impactful effort marked the beginning of a season-long commitment to giving back.
Continuing the resort’s holiday giving efforts, Vista Rise Collective later shared a need for holiday wrapping paper and gift bags, and Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe was excited to assist in support of their Gift-A-Holiday Program for local families. In addition to the gift-wrapping supplies, the resort is also donating gifts directly to families in need, helping make the holidays brighter in more ways than one.
Earlier this month, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe also proudly served as a drop-off location for Toys for Tots and successfully filled its donation bin with toys for children in need.
The resort team additionally participated in Christmas Cheer All Year, where they also filled their food donation collection box, helping stock local food pantries and extend the impact of holiday giving throughout the winter months.
Throughout the holiday season, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is also hosting a Giving Christmas Tree, where guests and employees are invited to take an ornament and make a monetary donation in support of Give Kids The World, helping create magical experiences for children and families facing critical illnesses.
Rounding out the season of giving, overnight guests can make an impact simply by staying at the resort. Through the popular ’Tis the SeaSon room offer, $10 from every night booked is donated directly to the Heavenly Avalanche Rescue Dogs, supporting the highly trained canine heroes who help protect skiers and riders on the mountain.
“Giving back is truly at the heart of who we are,” said Dania Duke, Managing Director of Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe. “Our team is incredibly passionate about supporting our local community, and the outpouring of generosity from both our associates and guests during the holiday season has been truly inspiring.”
Donation bins for all ongoing programs are conveniently located inside the resort lobby. Community members and visitors alike are encouraged to participate and help spread some island-style cheer this winter.
