Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe Unveils Winter Programming for 2025 Holiday Season
South Lake Tahoe, CA (October 27, 2025) – This winter, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is turning up the holiday cheer in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Nestled at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort, this all-suite escape blends laid-back island vibes with the wonder of a snow-covered paradise, where guests can soak up the season Tahoe-style.

Winter Activities and Après Ski Highlights
Just minutes from Heavenly’s chairlifts, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe offers convenient access to the slopes, along with indoor amenities for post-ski and snowboard relaxation. Guests can enjoy the heated indoor pool, live evening entertainment, and après ski food and drink specials at LandShark Bar & Grill.
Festive Happenings All Season Long
All winter long, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe will offer a full calendar of seasonal events for guests of all ages. Highlights include family movie nights, a Teddy Bear High Tea, kids karaoke evenings, and daily après gatherings with live music.
· Heated Igloos on the Terrace | Opens November 21
Private heated igloos return for the season, offering views of the snowy landscape and a curated menu of shareable plates, desserts, and seasonal cocktails. It’s the ultimate spot for a romantic date, a family hangout, or après-ski chill time.
· Après Ski at LandShark Bar & Grill | Begins November 21
Unwind after the slopes with live music, firepits, seasonal drinks, and snacks. Don’t miss the over-the-top hot chocolate bombs and DIY s’mores kits - Tahoe’s sweetest après tradition.
· Holiday Fun for Kids – Wiggles Welcome | Throughout the Holiday Season
Children can enjoy the indoor pool, arcade games, and a cookie-decorating session for the perfect sugar-fueled finale.
· Kids Karaoke Takeover at the Lobby Bar | November 28–29 & December 26–December 30
From 5–7 PM, kids can take the stage for karaoke and enjoy a buffet of fun bites. From 7–10 PM, the adults take over as local artists and live music bring the holiday energy to the lobby bar.
· Teddy Bear High Tea | Fridays & Saturdays, December 5–20, 3–5 PM
This cherished holiday experience returns with festive décor, sing-alongs, and a live pianist playing holiday tunes to enjoy while guests indulge in a three-tiered presentation of tea sandwiches, tarts, and sweet treats, served with premium teas or champagne.
· Holiday Hot Cocoa Bar | Fridays & Saturdays, December 5–27
Each Friday and Saturday in December, guests can enjoy a complimentary build-your-own hot cocoa bar with assorted toppings in the lobby during check-in hours.
· Cozy Family Movie Nights in the Ballroom | December 26–30
Enjoy family-friendly films in a cozy setting as the ballroom transforms into a holiday theater complete with oversized pillows, beanbags, and complimentary popcorn, plus a festive snack bar where drinks, baked goods, and sweet treats are available for purchase.
· Heavenly Avalanche Rescue Dogs Meet & Greet | Fridays, Begins December 5
From 5–6pm each Friday in December, the Heavenly Avalanche Rescue Dogs will be in the lobby for photos, pets, and smiles, where guests can enjoy pup snuggles and the complimentary Holiday Hot Cocoa Bar.
· Meet Me in La La Land: New Year’s Eve Celebration | Wednesday, December 31
Ring in 2026 in timeless style as the resort transforms into La La Land, inspired by the Rat Pack’s golden era. The evening features family-friendly fun from 6–9 PM, followed by live music, dancing, and champagne-fueled celebration through midnight.
· New Year’s Day “Hair of the Dog” Brunch at Come Monday Café | Thursday, January 1
Start the new year with brunch classics, live music, and a build-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. Because resolutions can wait ‘til Monday.
Seasonal Dining & Holiday Packages
From Thanksgiving through Christmas, guests can enjoy seasonal menus, including prix fixe dinners at JWB Prime Steak and Seafood, festive buffets at Come Monday Café, and seasonal dishes at LandShark Bar & Grill.
This year’s Tis’ the Season Package includes milk and cookies delivered en-suite, two festive beverages, and a $10 donation to the Heavenly Avalanche Rescue Dogs.
