What time is check-in at the hotel?
Check-in is after 3 p.m. local hotel time.

Is there a minimum age to reserve a room?
Yes, the minimum age to reserve a room is 18.
Is smoking allowed at the property?
No, the resort is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the hotel. The penalty for smoking is $500 per incident.
Are pets allowed at the hotel?
Dogs and cats weighing less than 25 pounds are welcome. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. A pet waiver along with a one-time non-refundable fee of $100 is due at check-in for those visiting with their pets.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
Reservations must be canceled by 6 p.m. local hotel time, 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, to avoid charges. Note the cancellation policy may change at any time and may vary by rate type and season.
Is there a resort fee?
Yes, there is a mandatory resort fee of $49.95 + tax per night.
*Resort Fee may be waived at times for corporate, group, or promotional rate plans. Please check the rate details.
Are rollaway beds available?
No, we do not have rollaway beds available.
Do you offer AAA rates?
Yes, AAA members receive 10% off the best available rate. Select Special Rate Options when booking on our website.
Are government rates available?
Yes, government rates are available. To see the most current rates for the period of your booking, select Special Rate Options when booking.
Are senior rates available?
Yes, we offer 8% off our best available rate for senior citizens.

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Early check-in and late check-out may be available, depending on availability. Please ask the front desk on the day of arrival or departure.
How do I request early check-in?
Early check-in can be requested upon arrival and is based on availability.
How do I notify the hotel of a late arrival?
Please call the front desk at 212-221-3007 to let us know you’ll be arriving late.
Will my room be held if I arrive late?
Yes. We hold rooms overnight and will release them the following day if the guest has not arrived.
How do I cancel my reservation?
It depends on where you booked:
Third-party sites (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.): Cancel directly through the site you booked with.
Direct bookings: Visit our website, select “Book Now”, then “My Bookings,” or call us at 212-221-3007.
Can I cancel if I’m within the cancellation window?
Yes. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival incur a fee of one night plus tax.
How do I modify my reservation?
This depends on where you booked:

How do I request connecting rooms?
Connecting rooms are limited and based on availability. After booking, please call our front office team at 212-221-3007 to place the request. You may also book over the phone if you’d like us to assist directly.
How do I request a room change or specific room type?
You can choose your preferred room type at the time of booking - whether booking directly or through a third-party. To change your room type:
Third-party bookings: Contact the site you booked with for any post-booking changes.
Direct bookings: Modify through “Book Now” → “My Bookings” on our website or call 212-221-3007.

Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, self-parking is available at City Parking, 136 W 40th St, New York, New York 10018. Guests will have to get their claim check validated by the hotel prior to check-out. Please note the highest/tallest SUV or Truck they accept is 72”. Those with an ADA plaque will be charged the same fees and may park in designated handicapped spaces.
Standard size vehicles: $55 per 24-hour period
SUV/Oversized vehicles: $60 per 24-hour period
All options are priced inclusive of tax per 24-hour period with no in and out privileges.
What types of guest rooms are available? Are connecting rooms available?
Guest rooms with one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed and two double beds are available. We also offer one-bedroom suites with a king-sized bed and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Several pairs of connecting rooms are available as well.

Is the hotel ADA accessible?
Yes, the hotel is equipped with an accessible route from the entrance to registration, restaurants, lounges, guest rooms, meeting spaces, the fitness center and the pool (where a pool access lift is available). We also offer guest rooms with the following:

Is the rooftop pool open year-round?
Yes. The 6th-floor rooftop pool is heated and open year-round, offering a relaxed escape no matter the season. The pool hours change seasonally, open 8 am - 8 pm during warm months and 10 am - 4:30 pm during colder months.
Is the hotel close to Broadway shows?
Yes. The resort sits within easy walking distance of Broadway theatres, making it simple to catch a show before or after dinner.
Is the hotel family-friendly?
Yes. The property welcomes families and offers room types that work well for group stays, with nearby attractions like Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square just steps away.
Is the pool only for hotel guests?
While the pool is primarily reserved for hotel guests, a limited number of day passes and lounge seating may be available for non-guests on select dates.
Do you offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, luggage storage is available through the front desk.
Can I receive Amazon or personal package deliveries?
Yes, packages can be received at the hotel; handling fees may apply depending on the number and size. The guest will need to ensure their name is clearly on the package and provide ID to pick up.

What restaurants are available at the hotel?
There are five delicious dining options available for anything from a sit-down meal to a quick cup of coffee:
- Margaritaville Restaurant & Tiki Bar: The heart and soul of Margaritaville Times Square New York, this two-story, 468-seat restaurant transports guests to paradise the minute they walk through the door.
- LandShark Bar & Grill: Home to Times Square’s only year-round outdoor heated pool, Landshark Bar & Grill provides 110 seats that personify the “sand-in-your-feet” experience we all aspire to escape to.
- License to Chill: This 75-seat indoor-outdoor gem specializes in craft cocktails that are complemented by sweeping views of Times Square (including that famous ball drop). Chill vibes are ‘heated up’ thanks to the ambiance-setting fireplace on the outdoor terrace.

Do you offer room service?
Yes, we offer an extensive room service menu. You can browse the menu and place orders via the television in your room.
Do I need reservations for the rooftop bar?
Walk-ins are welcome at both 5 o’Clock Somewhere Rooftop Bar and LandShark Bar & Grill. Reservations are recommended during evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
Is the rooftop bar inside or outside?
Both. The 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar blends indoor comfort with open-air seating, perched on the 31st and 32nd floors. While LandShark on the 6th floor offers indoor seating and outdoor poolside seating.
Are amenities available to purchase for my room?

How do I purchase or redeem a gift certificate?
We do not sell or accept Margaritaville gift cards at Margaritaville Resort Times Square at this time.
