At Margaritaville Resort Times Square, we are committed to providing our guests with a safe place to stay and play
Updated September 3, 2021
We’ve taken steps to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by the pandemic. We have developed a comprehensive health and cleanliness plan, for the resort, restaurants and bars that supplements the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Safe Stay Guidelines. This is based on recommendations and requirements of the following trusted resources to minimize risk and enhance safety for our hotel guests and associates:
- Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- U.S. Department of Health (DOH)
- Federal, state, local government agencies and authorities
- U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- National Restaurant Association
- Cleaning product suppliers and other partners
NYC Proof of Vaccination
Centering on the idea that Covid-19 vaccination is the “key” to safely enjoying New York City in full and supporting the local economy, effective August 17, 2021, the plan requires proof of at least one dose of a vaccination authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization for all individuals 12 and older for indoor dining spaces, indoor fitness facilities, and indoor entertainment and performing arts venues. Children under 12 who are not yet eligible for the vaccine are required to wear a mask and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Proof of vaccination is not required for overnight hotel stays.
Frequently asked questions are available in the Key to NYC FAQ.
Everyone is asked to practice proper physical distancing when possible.
Hand sanitizer stations are provided in high traffic areas throughout the property such as the front desk. Team members are performing thorough handwashing and sanitization at minimum every 60 minutes or after each guest interaction.
The floor plans of our restaurants will be arranged to maintain physical distancing with maximum occupancies set by local and state guidelines. Our menus are sanitized between each use or provided in digital format. Areas such as tables, chairs, and booths are sanitized after each guest use, using cleaners and disinfectants in accordance with guidelines provided by the CDC. Proof of Vaccination is required for all guests 12 and older to enter all restaurants and bars, per local ordinance. Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests in all restaurants and bars.
Contactless check-out is available as well as room service ordering and delivery. Self-parking options are available for guests who wish to have a contactless experience.
Face Coverings & Gloves
Masks are required for all team members. Team members are equipped with gloves and appropriate PPE if needed and have been trained on enhanced procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests. Face coverings are optional for vaccinated guests throughout property. If you are not fully vaccinated, we kindly ask you to continue to wear a face covering.
Public spaces and restrooms are cleaned at increased frequency with the recommended cleaners and disinfectants in accordance with the guidelines provided by the CDC. All rooms will remain unoccupied for 24 hours, to the extent possible, in between guest stays to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfection. All surfaces are disinfected, paying special attention to high-touch areas, with cleaners and disinfectants in accordance with CDC recommendations.
