We love our furry friends and welcome them to Camp Margaritaville Auburndale! For the safety of all guests please review our pet policy and adhere to the guidelines.
Pet Policy:
Non-aggressive pets are welcome, and all pets must be registered at the Camp Store. There is a maximum of 3 pets (dogs and cats) on RV sites and a maximum of 1 pet (dogs only), 35lbs or less, in our designated pet-friendly cabins. No wild or exotic animals are allowed. Pet owners must have proof of their pet’s current vaccinations.
Noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. Guests who are unable to control their pets will be asked to remove them from the premises, or the animal may be taken by local animal control authorities.
Camp Margaritaville Auburndale and its Management / Owners are not responsible for and will hold the pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). In addition, the owner of the pet that causes injury or damage is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party.
Pets are the responsibility of their owner. Pets must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times while within the Resort, except while in the on-site dog parks. Pet kennels, pens, fencing, corrals, or crates, etc. are not permitted. Pets may not be left outside unattended.
Pets are prohibited in ALL resort buildings, including restrooms, and near the pools and splash pad. Guests with dogs may access the small dog park from the west entrance near the large dog park.
Pet owner must pick up and discard pet waste upon occurrence. All pet waste must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle.
Pets should not be left alone inside of a cabin or RV. From time to time, our Central Florida area has power outages due to lightning or other circumstances unrelated to our Resort Operations. Even though these events are infrequent, it could cause devastating consequences due to heat buildup if your pet is left alone inside.
Pet-Friendly Cabana Cabins:
We have a small, designated number of pet-friendly cabins. If you are in a cabin that is not permitted for pets, please do not bring a pet into the cabin. Any additional cleaning or repairs due to having pets in cabins will be accessed and charged to the reservation holder.
Pets are not to be left alone in a cabin as this can result in excessive barking, howling, or property damage. Leaving unattended pets may result in the guest being asked to the leave the premises.
