Event Rules & Safety
We want Fins & Fenders to stay fun, relaxed, and safe for everyone.
Please keep the following in mind while on resort property:
- Resort-wide speed limit is 15 MPH or slower when directed by staff.
- No burnouts, racing, drifting, tire spinning, or reckless driving.
- No unnecessary or excessive engine revving.
- Drivers must follow all directions from Camp Margaritaville team members and event personnel.
- Vehicles may only be operated in designated event areas and approved routes.
- Drivers must yield to pedestrians, golf carts, bicycles, resort vehicles, and other traffic.
- Vehicles may not block roadways, fire lanes, entrances, or exits.
- Vehicles may not be left running unattended.
- Alcohol or drug impairment while operating a vehicle is strictly prohibited.
- Participants are responsible for their vehicle, occupants, and personal belongings.
- All participating vehicles must be properly registered, insured, and in safe operating condition.
- Anyone operating a vehicle must have a valid driver’s license and be legally authorized to operate it.
Participants joining the optional resort cruise must remain with the organized procession, maintain a safe following distance, stay on the designated route, and follow all instructions from event personnel.
Completion of the official participant registration and agreement is required for all vehicles participating in Fins & Fenders.
