Do You Offer Packages for Smaller Weddings or Elopements?
Yes! Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers several options for couples planning intimate celebrations, elopements, or micro-weddings.
Our Ceremony-Only Packages are perfect for couples who want a meaningful “I do” without a full-scale reception. These packages include access to our beautiful ceremony spaces, white resin chairs, infused water station, and on-site coordination.
We’re also proud to partner with Just Marry!, a trusted wedding planning team specializing in small-scale celebrations. Their expertise ensures your day is beautifully managed and stress-free—whether you’re planning a quiet elopement or a stylish micro-wedding.
For couples looking for a relaxed way to celebrate, our Enhancements Menu is ideal for casual receptions or bridal parties getting ready together before the big moment.
Do I need to use your preferred vendors?
No — but we highly recommend it.
While you're welcome to bring in your own licensed and insured vendors, we’ve carefully curated a list of preferred professionals who know our resort, our spaces, and our standards inside and out. These vendors have consistently delivered exceptional service and seamless experiences for our couples.
From DJs and photographers to florists and officiants, our preferred vendors are trusted partners who work hand-in-hand with our team to bring your vision to life.
If you choose to use outside vendors, we simply require:
1. Proof of insurance (COI)
2. Contact details for coordination
3. Pre-approval for any vendors providing food, beverage, or specialty services
Whether you use our trusted partners or bring your own team, we’ll make sure your wedding day is flawlessly executed.

If I Choose an Outdoor Space, What Is the Backup Plan? Do I Get to Choose?
For outdoor ceremonies, a weather backup location is included to ensure your day goes smoothly — rain or shine.
The backup space is not chosen by the couple but will be assigned by the resort approximately two weeks before your wedding date, based on availability of indoor and covered locations.
This allows our team to secure the best possible alternative venue to keep your celebration comfortable and beautiful, regardless of the weather.
What Is the Payment Schedule?
To secure your wedding date, a 25% deposit is due at the time of signing your event agreement. The remaining balance will be divided into three additional payments, spaced out over the months leading up to your event.
Your final scheduled payment is due one month prior to your wedding date. After your final guest count is submitted, any remaining balance—based on your confirmed headcount and selected enhancements — will be due.
Please Note: For weddings or events booked within 4 months of the event date, a 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Our team will guide you through the payment timeline and keep you informed every step of the way.
What Does the 26% Administrative Charge Cover?
The 26% administrative charge is a standard service fee that covers a range of essential behind-the-scenes costs associated with executing your event smoothly and professionally.
This charge helps cover:
Banquet staff and service team compensation
Event setup and breakdown labor
Coordination between culinary, service, and operations teams
Use and maintenance of resort equipment, tables, chairs, and linens
Ongoing support from your dedicated event manager and coordination team
Please note: This is not a gratuity. While the administrative charge supports the resort team as a whole, gratuities for exceptional service are always appreciated but not required and are at your discretion.
Can I Use an Outside Caterer?
In these cases, outside caterers must:
1. Be licensed and insured
2. Receive prior approval from the resort
3. Coordinate directly with our events team to ensure proper setup and compliance with resort policies
We’re happy to work closely with you to explore all available options and craft a menu that honors your tastes and traditions—without compromising on quality or service.
